Sizzix Hero Arts Happy Birthday Cupcakes Birthday Cards
I bought this Sizzix Hero Arts Happy Birthday Cupcakes Stamp and Die Set over a year ago. I finally had time to sit down and made some cards with it. I have tons of Stamp and Die Set that I have never even opened. I am so addicted to do stamp and die shopping, I have way too many stamps and dies, but I have no time to do anything with them. I feel so guilty, I feel like wasting money! Therefore, I give myself a goal! I need to make one project a week with my stash.
Anyway, go back with my Cupcakes Birthday Cards. I am very proud of myself, this is my first time to make cards. I am not really a Cardmaking person, I love to do more "3D" project, like treat boxes, gift boxes etc. So it is a totally new to me. I googled and got a lot of inspiration.
First card:

I used 3 different die sets to make this card, I will include the Supplies list later. The blue dots paper is from Tuesday's Morning, I bought these papers properly over 2 years ago, I love the sparkling on the white dots. And for the Ornate Card, I embossed with the rose pattern. And the "Heart" Dolly is made of Fabric Adhesive Paper. I am so in love with Fabric Adhesive Paper, it is perfect for papercraft projects, you don't need to use any glue, it is likes a sticker, just peel the back and stick.
For the cupcake, I first color the cardstock with pink paint, then stamp with black ink. And then cut out the "Icing Top", then I stamped another cupcake. After that, I die cut it and use red marker for the cherry. I used square foam glue to attach the "Pink Icing" to the blank cupcake, so it creates the 3D effect. See the pic below.

The second card, I used different cupcake stamp from the same set, and different and embossing folder and die for the ornate card.
Also, I used Hot Glue Gun with colored glue sticks to create the 3D effect for the Cherry Top and dot on the cake. I like how it turned out, it is fun to decorate with hot glue gun. See the pic below.
