Retro Fabric Shoulder Bag

Just sewed this shoulder bag 2 nights ago. I love the fabrics, it is very retro, I got it when it is on clearance, only $5 per yard, regular is $50 per yard. I wish I bought more.

And I used "Fake" Vintage Button I bought from JoAnn, I really love the finish.

My Vintage Sewing Machine: Singer 15-91

We bought this gorgeous vintage sewing machine last Sunday. It is Singer 15-91 made in 1949. Comes with original manual, accessories and cabinet. I paid $75, I think it is pretty good deal. So far I love the machine, I just need more time to get used to it. It is very powerful, much better than my Kenmore 15516.

We found the manual and vintage simplicity pattern behind the bottom drawer, I bet it is hidden for years. hehehe....

The pics are taken before we cleaned and oiled.

Sorry, I was unable to upload the pics on the blog.

Soldered Glass Pendants

Jonathan and I made these soldered glass pendants together. First, we used his soldered iron (for electronic), then we found out that it is not hot enough. So end up, we went to the local craft store and bought a soldered iron. Then it worked great. Here are the 1st batch we made, not perfect, but I think it is pretty good. I will practice more, coz I just signed up Swap for Craftster, I need make 5 pendants.

I tried to add the pics, but there is some problem with blogger. I will add teh pics tomorrow.

My new Shopping Bag

This is another shopping bag I made. This is a medium size, so it is great for every day use or for small shopping trip. I also sew a pocket inside and a bias tape on the bottom.

They are available at www.NameThatCandy.Etsy.com
