Back from Hong Kong

I haven't updated my blog for long time. I was in Hong Kong for 3 weeks, after I got back, then I got a flu and have been sicked for a week, then my hubby got a flu from me, I need to take care of them. I didn't have time to do any craft or update my blog. Finally, I have time to write my blog.

About my trip, it was fun. It was nice to see my family and friends. I ate a lot of good food and bought some craft supplies, but not too many. Coz I was sick the last few days of the trip, which I planned to do some "Craft" Shopping. :(

I brought my handcrafted soaps to my family and friends. My mom loves the soaps, she is very surprised that my soaps are good, she was a little scared to try. And I made her a shopping bag, she loves it too. She is surprised that my sewing skill is pretty good. My mom is very good at sewing, she used to work for clothing factory. Therefore, when she complimented my sewing skill, it makes me proud of myself!! hahaha.....

Last Friday, I made 2 batches of soaps, one is made of Coconut Milk and I used Coconut Pear Fragrance Oil, which smells delicious! Another one I used Vanilla Buttercream Fragrance Oil and mixed with Lavender Essential Oil, which smells YUMMY!! My hubby said he wants to get a bite of it.

Holly Days at Sanderson High

My boss and I shared a booth at Holly Days (High School Fundraising Show) at 12/1 and 12/2. We sold the craft we made.

I am very disappointed with the show, we did't sell much. Two whole days, I only had $71 sales. My boss is a little bit more than me. I didn't sell any purses, ppl are very tight on money, they don't want to buy "High price" items, only cheap stuff. I sold a lot of pocket mirrors and buttons. A lot of ppl like my purses, just no one buys it.

Will I do it next year again? Only if someone will share the booth with me, otherwise, I will lose $$ to sell at the show.

My boss's husband took pics of us. I hate the pics, I look so fat and "OLD". I guess I really need to lose some weight. Now I am 99 lbs. I gain about 6 lbs in this year. I really need to be on diet, no more snacks. BTW, you can see my new hair cut. It looks better in person.

My little Chihuahua

This is my newest amigurumi project. I really love this chihuahua. I gave him a very cute Froggies Bandana, it makes me more adorable.

Fabric Scrapes

I did my curtain last weekend, and I have some fabrics scrapes. So I made some coasters from it. I think they look pretty nice. I feel great to get some use of it instead of throw it away.

I made this purse last week. I really like it, I used Japanese Fabrics and some home decoration fabrics. Because I am new to sewing, so it took me about 4 to 5 hours. It supposed to take 2 hours. hahahaha....
