Love Spell Mango Butter Soap - Olive Oil Base and Organic

Love Spell Mango Butter Soap is a blend of Summer Flowers and Orange Fragrance. It is not too over powdery or strong, very subtle and fresh. It is made of 100% Natural Ingredient and Skin Safe Fragrance Oil.

My soaps weigh approx 4+ oz, because I hand cut the soaps, each soap may weight differently.

Ingredients:
Distilled Water, *Extra Virgin Olive Oil, *Unrefined Palm Oil,, *Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Babassu Oil, Soybean Oil, Mango Butter, Castor Oil, Fragrance Oil, Rose Petal and Silk Fiber.

*Organic

***WHY HANDCRAFTED SOAPS???***

My soaps DO NOT CONTAIN any chemicals which are found in a lot of commercial products such as:

--- NO Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate which can affect those prone to eczema and other irritants

--- NO Cocamide DEA

--- NO Artificial Colorants or Dyes, I only use Natural Colorants like Herbs and Clays

I make my soaps from scratch and use only the best ingredients, most of my oils, butters and herbs are organic, I try to use organics as much as possible. I also add “Silk Fiber” which leaves your skin silky smooth and soft after shower. I scent my soaps with Essential Oils or High Quality Skin Safe Fragrance Oils. All my soaps are 100% vegetarian, but not vegan (since I add silk fiber), I do offer several vegan soaps.

Pics of my new shopping bags

Made 2 bags couple days ago. One with long handle and one with short handle, I used Target Shopping bag as the pattern. So they are pretty big, can hold up a lot of grecory. Love the fabrics, they both are great for Spring and Summer.

I personally love the long handle one, coz the fabric remind me 70s, very retro. Both bags are be folded, after that, you tight it with the ribbons (sew in ribbons). very compact. you can put it in your purse or your car, so you will never forget to bring your own bag to shop.

Here is my favorite:

New Soaps made of Red Palm Oil and Green Tea

I did 2 batches soaps this week.

One is made of Organic Extra Virgin Red Palm Oil instead of regular Palm Oil, love the color of the soap, very colorful and sharp. And I topped it with Rose Buds and Petals, scented with "Love Spell" FO, it smells great and look beautiful. Very proud of myself.

Another one is made of Jasmine Green Tea instead of water, I topped it with Green Tea Leaf and scented with Green Tea Soulffe FO. The color of the soaps are kind of brownish. Next time I will try to color it with Green Clay.

My cute little flower soaps

I bought some Flower Candy Molds from Michael's, I have been using them to make soaps, they are very cute, I really like it.

And I have been giving out my soaps to my family and friends, so far I got very good reviews on them. I am very proud of myself! My brother-in-law even said it is the best soap he ever used. It really makes my day.

"Soap" Pretty, "Soap" Much Fun!!

I haven't updated my blog for a long time, because I am busy with my new hobby "Soap Making". I made my 1st batch soap which I used HP method, I don't really like the texture of the soap and it took too long. So I studied CP method, I tried my 1st CP soap last week, but it was a mess. My soap didn't trace. I was so frustrated, but I am glad that I found a very friendly and informative Soap Making Forum

I asked a lot of questions, I learned a lot and I even designed my own soap recipes. I made my 1st batch 1/4 with CPOP method, it turned out beautiful, it is an unscented soap, no colorants and chemicals. I used cocoa butter, so it has a slightly chocolate scent, very light and mild. And the color is beautiful. Very proud of myself. Here is the pic:

It takes about 4 weeks to cure the soaps before I can use it, but someone told me that in about 2 weeks, I can use it, but the longer I wait, the mild the soap will be.

And yesterday, I did my 2nd batch, I used the same recipe but I added something different, first I used "spearmint" tea instead of water, and I also added Peppermint and Lemon Essential Oils. The soap smelled so good when I was making it. I also add some dried spearmint on the top of the soap, it looks so pretty and "natural". I cut the soap this morning, it smells like "Heaven". Hahaha... I can't wait to try the soap.

I am so proud of myself!! I am going to make another batch tomorrow with Chocolate Fragrance oil. Hmmm... Yummy!!

Make my 1st batch of soaps today

I want to make soaps for long time, after I read a lot of books and some soap forums, I finally feel confident to make it. Since I am still a little bit worried about "LYE" part, so my hubby assisted me the whole time. We had a great time.

We tried HP method, I thought it supposed to take about an hour to cook, but end up it took over 2 hours. I think it is a little bit too time consuming. We will try CP method next time, coz we don't need to cook the soap, after we stir the soap, we can pour it to the mold.

We will probably try another batch next Monday. I will take pics of my first batch soap later tonight. I haven't cut them yet, it should be ready to be cut about 11pm.

New Wristlets with Zipper

Just add couple new wristlets at my store, they are pleated with zipper, very cute.

One is Vintage Style with "Vintage Looking Button", look great with causal and formal clothing.

Another one is Gold Fish fabrics, my mom got the gold fish placement in Hong Kong, but I don't need any placement, so I used it to make the wristlet, the placement is BRAND NEW. Never been used. This is OOAK.
