I love love my new stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey Beautiful Wings Stamp Set (SS-0353). It is my first layer stamp set. I have so much fun playing with it. I played with all my ink pads and created different color combinations.

How to create 3 color butterfly?
I first stamped the "outline stamp" with black ink on the white cardstock. Then I used 3 different colors for my base stamp. I ink the bottom with Blue ink pad, then Pink ink pad on the middle part and the yellow on the top. I let the ink overlapped a little to create gradient. After the stamp is inked, I stamped it over the "outline" I did before.

For Background:
I used blue/ pink cardstock as a background. Then I stamped over with the "Base" and "Outline" butterfly stamp with my favourite white ink pad (Fun Stampers Journey Whip Cream Ink Pad).
Tips: I stamped it twice before I re-ink the stamp again, because I like the softer look of the "2nd generation" of the stamp.

For the white circle:
I die cut it with Fun Stampers Journey Circle Die Set (DI-0039), I really love the Circle Die Set from Fun Stampers Journey, because it comes with the "Piercing Dies". Most circle dies from the other companies don't come with piercing dies. After I cut it out, I used Piercing Die to create all the little holes around the circle. Then I used Tim Holtz Air Spritzer for the "Paint Splat" effect.
For the middle circle:
I just die cut with the Journey Circle Die (DI-0039), then stamped over with the Beautiful Wings Butterfly stamp with white ink.
Finishing up:
I used "Thank You" Stamp from Fun Stampers Journey "Sentimental Prints" SS-0072. Happy Birthday stamp will work too, but I am in need of Thank You Cards, so I used Thank You.
Lastly, I decorated with some sequins.
It is super fun card to make, you can be very creative with different color ink pads.
