Fun Stampers Journey July Bloom Box - Dream Big Card

Finally I had time to start the Fun Stampers Journey July Bloom Box project, I chose "Dream Big" as my first project.  The instruction is very easy to follow, I think I finished this card in an hour.  It probably takes less time if I wasn't taking pics for the tutorial.

Here is the tutorial:

Step 1:

Supplies from July Bloom Box (Dream Big Card)

Step 2:  Stamp the Dream Catcher Stamp to the center

 

Stamp the Dream Catcher to the center.

Step 3: Stamp over the whole cardstock

 

 Step 4:  Stamp "Dream Big" onto the Rectangle Banner

Step 5: Sponge the edge of the feathers with Oatmeal Cookie Ink Pad (I don't have this color, so I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad in Tea Tie)

Step 6:  Lay the feather ends together and fold the Silver Twinkle Trim in half and lay on top.  Tie the natural Journey Thread several times around the ends of the feathers and tie in a knot capturing the Silver Twinkle Trim inside the bow, adhere with Craft Glue.

Step 7:  Adhere the Whip Cream Panel onto the River Stone Card Base

Step 8: Adhere the "Stamped" panel onto the card base.

Step 9:  Adhere the "Dream Big" Panel onto the Card Base

Step 10: Adhere the feathers onto the card base. And add Journey Foam Squares to the lower portion of the feathers to affix them to the card base.

Step 11:  Affix sequins with craft glue.

Step 12:  DONE!!

Cardstock: River Stone (CS-0094), Whip Cream (CS-0040), Oatmeal Cookie (CS-0023), Bubble Gum (CS-0099) and Pineapple Smoothie (CS-0060)

Ink Pad: Black Licorice (IP-0041), River Stone (IP-0053), Oatmeal Cookie (IP-0011).  

*I don't have Oatmeal Cookie Ink Pad, so I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tea Tie.

Dies: Everyday Elements (SR-0004) and Journey Rectangle Long (DI-0040)

Embellishments: Journey Sequins (AC-0115), Twinkle Trim (AC-0215), Natural Journey Thread (AC-0133)

Adhesive: Easy Glide Adesive (AD-0081) or White Liner (AD-0001), Journey Foam Squares (AD-0084 or AD-0083) and craft glue (I used hot glue gun).

Optional: Fusion Ink Sponge (JM-0014)

I haven't had a chance to make the cards yet, I am still waiting for my Fun Stampers Journey Ink Pad. I heard that their "Black" ink pads are awesome, so I want to try them out with this set of cards.  I will post more pics later this weekend.  So far, I am happy with the quality of the stamp sets, the cardstocks and the embellishment.  The instruction is very detail, it is easy to follow.  And Dream Catchers theme is such a big hit right now, I can imagine myself using this stamp sets a lot, not just for cards, I can use it to make tags, home decoration etc.  The best part of this stamp set is you receive 3 different styles of Dream Catchers.
